Quick Office Shuffle

Day SIX of THIRTY days of writing every day.

Before Leland, my husband and I each had our own office spaces. After Leland, we decided to consolidate.

For a while, it worked. I used a roll around cart to keep myself in whatever corner worked out for the day. Sometimes that was in the office, oftentimes it was somewhere else while my husband was working from home.

After my mother-in-law moved this desk needed a home so I thought, “What better way than now to refine my workspace.”

I’m happy with how it turned out.

I decided to face the desk toward the window so I’d have nice bright light on my face for video calls. Behind me is nothing special, but easy on the eyes. On my calls I’m anticipating a side view of the monstera and, with the right laptop angle, a portion of the decorated wall.

I’m excited to get to work in this space! It’s the yin to the yang of my husband’s side of the office for sure.
