Build a Business You Can Keep Steering
On Day 29 of 30 days of writing every day, I talked about your three most valuable resources. If you haven't read it, check it out here 👉 [ Mind Your Buckets: Three Most Valuable Business Resources ]

In this bulletin, Day 30 of 30 days writing something every day, I'm talking more about those resource buckets.
I NEED TO BE FRANK WITH YOU.
If you refuse to acknowledge the reality of your situation, you'll never feel stable. Building a sustainable business means analyzing your current state and pivoting so things can still move forward and your mission and goals can be met.
Looking at your time, skill building, and financial capacities once a year is not enough.
Routine assessments allow you to pivot over time, adjusting and growing your buckets strategically, so you aren't walking crooked for a year before realizing you need to compensate more on the other leg.
At that point, the damage is done. Things will change.
Your business is going to change. Your capacity is going to change. Your goals are going to change. The resources available to you are going to change.
That’s business.
So let's get realistic. Let's mind our buckets. Let's look at other businesses for inspiration, not roadmaps.
LET'S BUILD SOMETHING THAT MAKES SENSE FOR YOU.
And let's stop pretending you have to figure all of this out by yourself. Sometimes maintaining equilibrium means having a place to step back, look at what’s working, identify what’s out of balance, and figure out what needs to shift.
That’s a big part of what we do inside the Collab Lab.
It’s a place to keep building your skills, revisit the things you already know, work through the things that have slipped, and get support as your business changes.
Sustainable businesses don’t stay perfectly balanced. They learn how to rebalance.
And we find it's a whole lot easier to do that when you have other people in the room.
If you’ve been looking for a place to keep your business moving, keep your skills sharp, and have a little help maintaining your equilibrium, I’d love to have you in the room.
